Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples to reside on-campus in Callaway, FL, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule and eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent in the same student home; relocation assistance and paid training provided; requires two-year married couples, both spouses 27+, on-campus housing benefits, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement and eligibility: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proselytizing prohibited
