Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus to supervise 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role for couples
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
