Job Summary
Two-person, fully supported Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School: a Full-time Flex Houseparent position for a legally married couple living on campus to supervise and mentor a group of ~8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a stable, same-group Houseparent. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and on-site housing. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to campus safety rules; both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
