Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married requirement for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel attendance
- Experience with youth (volunteering or working)
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
