Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts as a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a placed houseparent with continued residence in a student home. The position requires a legally married couple (both spouses must be at least 27 years old) and involves a two-person, on-site caregiving environment with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married status for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
