Job Summary
House Parents for on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA. Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role operates on a nine-on, three-off schedule during the initial phase, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living arrangement with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year two-spouse commitment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
