Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Drive students to activities and actively engage them in developmental and recreational programs. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role after initial support of various homes. Work a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled time available on weekdays while students are in school. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
