Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagement. Manage household budgets and reporting. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Requires a legal marriage of at least two years, ages 27+, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Salary is $46,917 per person with free housing and meals included.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
