Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities while planning developmental and recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Initially support various student homes on a nine-day-on, three-day-off rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific group. Married couples must relocate to Hershey, PA, for this full-time position offering a salary of $46,917 per person, comprehensive benefits, and free housing and meals. Both spouses must be at least 27, hold a high school diploma, possess a valid driver's license, and demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
