Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in an on-campus student home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, plan recreational engagements, lead devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social development. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required for this two-person role for legally married couples.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
