Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, two-year marriage stability, both spouses ages 27+, valid U.S. driver's license with ability to drive student vans, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-campus housing and comprehensive benefits with relocation assistance are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
