Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents, married couples, reside in on-campus student homes housing 8–13 students; provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students in their home; relocation to Hershey, PA provided with benefits including medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and reside on-campus in student homes
- Complete individual applications for consideration, for both spouses
