Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person married couple residing on campus in an on-site student home, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning/participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
