Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and a transition path to a Placed Houseparent with continued residence in the student home. The role features a nine-on/two-off cycle (nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off) with eventual placement in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services

- No more than three dependent children in home
