Job Summary
House Parents - Flex roles reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and budgeting/reporting. The role progresses from an initial nine-on, three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same group of students. Relocation is provided; compensation per person is $44,768 annually with comprehensive benefits and housing; relocation assistance and paid training are offered. This is a two-person, married-couple role with requirements for both spouses to complete individual applications, age and driving-certification prerequisites, and adherence to campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
