Job Summary
House Parents (two-person, married couple) to reside on campus in Hershey, PA and provide care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a Flexible Houseparent role to a Placed Houseparent role. Requires experience with youth, high school diploma or GED, and a legally married couple with both spouses aged 27 or older. On-site, full-time role with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to drive student vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and adherence to campus standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
