Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to reside on Milton Hershey School’s campus in Hershey, PA, to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for about 813 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- On-campus housing provided; relocation required
