Job Summary
House Parents (Full-time Flex) for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple role residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and daily structure, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead devotions and Chapel attendance, and oversee household budgeting and reporting. The position begins with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle, with eventual placement as a long-term Houseparent in a single student home. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status for couple
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to live on-campus in student home
- Experience with youth (work or volunteering)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in the home
