Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Alliance, NC (on a designated student home) to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage daily routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, supervise budgeting and reporting, and participate in a transition path to a placed Houseparent role. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, ensuring student wellness, and upholding a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with a commitment to student success. The role is a nine-on, three-off cycle initially, with relocation assistance provided and paid training; compensation is per person with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Desire to work with youth in a school/home setting
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
