Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents will live on-campus in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of ~813 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and guiding daily devotions with Sunday Chapel. After an initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, they transition to Placed Houseparents living with the same student group; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married, two-spouse partnership with both spouses age 27 or older.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
