Job Summary
Two-person married couple serves as Full-time Flex Houseparents living in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. They manage household routines, budgeting, and reporting, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and a path to transition into a Placed Houseparent where they live and work with the same students in their own home. The position includes relocation to Hershey, PA, comprehensive benefits and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse employment applications required for consideration
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations (fish and one dog)
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
