Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, residing on campus to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, and eventually transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to drive student vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-spouse requirement per role
- Ages: both spouses 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
