Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent positions for married couples relocated to Hershey, PA. Residence in on-campus student homes with responsibility for supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 813 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
