House Parents - Relocation to Hershey, PA

House Parents at Milton Hershey School are a two-person, married-couple, full-time Flex Houseparents living on-campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. After an initial nine-on with three-off duty period, couples transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Qualifications include experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, validity of U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans, and a requirement that both spouses are legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with limited pets. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration.
