Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, supervision, and mentorship for groups of 8–13 students in on-campus homes, living with the same group over time and transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and managing household budgets and reporting. Requires living on campus in Hershey, PA, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off during the initial phase, with relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse couple, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
