Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities include managing household routines, budgeting, and reporting, with initial nine-days-on/three-days-off scheduling before transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided alongside comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Complete individual employment applications for both spouses
