Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on campus in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; comprehensive benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
