Job Summary
House Parents - a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple on a church-affiliated on-campus student home program. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a family-like, structured environment. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided with on-site housing and meals, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
