Job Summary
House Parents for Milton Hershey School: Full-time Flex Houseparents (two married spouses) reside on campus in student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, transportation, activities, and devotional/church participation. Role progresses from nine consecutive days on / three days off to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA with on-site housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and couples who are legally married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27 or older. Training provided; two-person apply-in-tandem process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
