Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule and may transition to a placed houseparent with the same students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is offered with a comprehensive benefits package, including salary per person, relocation assistance, and full benefits. This two-person, married-couple position requires both spouses to be age 27+, with at least two years of marriage, and involves housing, meals, and on-campus living as part of the compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse household required; both spouses must complete individual applications
- Married for at least two years
- Ages 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
