Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA provide daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, and lead developmentally supportive routines for a group of 8–13 students. Role evolves from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent with ongoing household budgeting, reporting, and leadership in devotions and Sunday Chapel. Requires married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, high school diploma or GED, and relocation to campus; benefits include relocation assistance and comprehensive coverage. Salaries: $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple) plus housing, meals, and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lead devotions and chapel services (Judeo-Christian)
