Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparent positions on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of about 813 students, including administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially in a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple student homes, with a long-term transition to aPlaced Houseparent role living and working with the same student group. Requires relocation support and comprehensive benefits; must be legally married, both spouses age 27+, and able to meet youth-mentoring responsibilities in a structured, faith-informed campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
