House Parents — a two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role for married couples at Milton Hershey School. Live on campus in student homes with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care, including managing routines, medications, and student schedules, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and supervising budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed Houseparent in a single, consistent home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
