Job Summary
Two-person married couple position as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on-campus in Hershey, PA. Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students, including managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided and compensation per person, with total couple compensation around $168,000 plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- This is a Full-time Flex Houseparents role on-campus with supervision and care duties
- Relocation assistance provided
