Job Summary
Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role involves living in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and budgeting/reporting. The two-person position requires both spouses to complete individual applications, with an initial nine-on/three-off duty schedule and eventual placement together in a single student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided, with salary around $44,768 per person and total compensation per couple about $168,000. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience with youth, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and alignment with a smoke-free/weapon-free campus policy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
