Job Summary
Fully integrated two-person role as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus in a student home to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee household routines and budgeting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
