Job Summary
House Parents - Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. A two-person, married-couple role where on-campus residents provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling and routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a living-and-working couple in one student home to a placed houseparent role. Requires legally married couples for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA. Benefits include a salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple with housing and other benefits), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lead students in devotions and attend Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
