Job Summary
Couples serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA, living in student homes to supervise and mentor around 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and following a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group. Requires a two-person married couple with high school diploma or GED, both spouses 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with youth; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
