Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in on-campus homes in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, guidance, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed Houseparent role. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; positions include housing and meals on duty as part of compensation. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement: couples must apply individually
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside on campus and follow campus policies
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Able to become certified to drive student home vans
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Legally married for at least two years
