Job Summary
House Parents to live on-campus in Hershey, PA, as Full-time Flex Houseparents for a two-person married couple. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group. Relocation assistance provided; benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- Two-spouse role; both spouses must apply separately
