Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School for a married two-person couple living on campus. The role involves supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students in an on-campus home, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, duties follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same students. The position includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with on-site housing and comprehensive benefits, plus relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
