Job Summary
Two-person, married couple role serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: reside on-campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students; duties include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation package to Hershey, PA, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
Additional Requirements
- Requires married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
