Job Summary
House Parents (two-person married couple) full-time role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, living in on-campus student homes to supervise ~813 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, including medication administration, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in the same student home. Relocation package and comprehensive benefits included (medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA options, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, paid time off). For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse requirement for consideration (couples must both apply)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
