Job Summary
House Parent - Flex role for a married couple living on campus at Milton Hershey School. The pair provides care, guidance, supervision, and support to 8–13 students in a home environment, overseeing routines, transportation to activities, devotional activities, budgeting, and student wellness. Starting with a nine-on/three-off schedule, couples may move into a Placed Houseparent position with a long-term home assignment. The role includes relocation benefits, full benefits, and extensive on-site responsibilities focused on student development and daily home management.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-years married minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a safe, smoke-free, weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited (lead by example in Judeo-Christian setting)
