Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA (on-campus homes for ~8–13 students) providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent role. Requires a high-school diploma or GED, both spouses aged 27+, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; relocation assistance is provided. This is a two-spouse role for married couples, with full benefits and on-campus housing for the couple.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
