Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, reside on-campus in a student home to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and other family-friendly supports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-models for students
- Desire to live and work in on-campus student homes
- Ability to complete individual employment applications for both spouses
