Job Summary
House Parent – a two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparent role located on campus to supervise and guide 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and accompanying Sunday Chapel. Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package. Requires married couples, both spouses 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license, be able to lift 50 lbs, and demonstrate integrity and professionalism; roles involve campus life, supervision of youth, and leadership in devotional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
