Job Summary
House Parent - Full-time Flex role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, for married couples. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students, with responsibilities including supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment. Includes relocation assistance and paid training; salary is $44,768 per person (about $168,000 total per couple with benefits). Requirements include two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth, among others.
