Job Summary
House Parent - a two-person, married-couple role based on a residential student home at Milton Hershey School. Full-time flex houseparents reside on campus, supervise and mentor approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental and recreational activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday chapel. The position begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and transitions to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Compensation starts at $44,768 per person (roughly $168,000 per couple in total) with comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, two-year married status, both spouses aged 27 or older, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth.
