Job Summary
Full-time two-person on-campus House Parent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, for married couples. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring ~813 students, daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel services, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation package and comprehensive benefits provided; includes medical/dental/vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
